Tips for a Perfect Wedding Day

With every event we plan, we strive to make it an enjoyable and memorable event. The important thing to remember is that on your wedding day, you aren’t going to care if the flower girl’s hair isn’t perfect, or if they ran out of programs during the ceremony. Let go and just enjoy...why? because you are getting married, and there is no greater joy!
But it is important for us to avoid as many glitches as possible, here’s a top 5 list of things to remember:
1. Plan for the details. An itemized budget will help you cover all expenses, especially all the little details, since they can really add up at the end of the day if not accounted for.
2. Remember the wedding. Couples are often so focused on celebrating with their friends and family at a fun reception, that the details of the actual ceremony are the last thing to be planned.
3. Plan well, but be adaptable. Whether it be a sudden storm or twenty unexpected guests, couples need to plan as much as possible for any situation. Try to make your guest list early in the planning and be honest with yourselves about how many people might eventually be added to it, and if you really want to get married outdoors, it is absolutely essential to have a back-up plan in case the weather goes against you.
4. It takes a village. The foundation to for couples to have their own support team. Trusted friends and family important to not only a beautiful event, but also just maintaining your sanity!
5. It’s just a day. Granted you have been dreaming of this day your whole life, it’s not reason to lose sight of why you are having the party in the first place. Keep it all in perspective and remember what is most important about their wedding day: the joining of two people in marriage!

Flowers: No Need to Coordinate!

Flowers: No Need to Coordinate!
When it comes to adding that pop of color and freshness to your bridemaid’s bouquets, what better way to personalize them than by giving each one a different color and flower that matches their personality and style?
Having different pops of colors stand out against neutral bridesmaids’ dresses are a fun and flirty way to add color and give each guests something interesting to look at and enjoy. No need to coordinate colors, have fun with it!

DIY Bridesmaids Cards

I’m always looking for cute do-it-yourself projects to incorporate into weddings. They’re a great way to not only save money, but be creative as well, such as these adorable linked bridesmaids cards! I love the paper chain people that we all learned to make in grade school and this project uses that simple concept to introduce your bridesmaids to everyone. Cut out the shape of the dress you plan on using in the color you desire and personalize each person with some paper hair. You can then wrap them around a personalized card asking “will you be my bridesmaid?” before mailing them out to each of your girls!
